Great atmosphere very nice people and extremely friendly staff . Want to give a shoutout to Ethan from the Castlefield hotel gave us nothing but exceptional service the whole of our stay . The rooms are okay nothing great but for the price suitable ! Could do with a bit refurbishing as it’s getting damaged and old but still a pleasant stay and great location and people ! Also the gym and pool downstairs was a great add on

Following an Air bnb disaster. We found this hotel around the corner. Sarah on the Reception Desk was simply amazing and super helpful. We needed two nights but the hotel could only accommodate us for one night, but she tried so hard to get us in for two nights, but with Pride and England cricket, it wasn’t to be. The stay was great, very clean and comfy. The barman gave me helpful tips on taking the tram. Would stay again, for sure, especially with your amazing staff.

Friends recommend the new food menu so decided to try the Sunday lunch. Generous portion of beef which wasn’t overcooked like so many places do. Yorkshire pudding was also decent, seemed to be freshly cooked and not dried out. Speedy service, good value and better product – especially in comparison to nearby options like Wharf, Raft, Albert’s Shed etc.

To make it even better – was a bit quiet without music, and also offering Horseradish/French Mustard.

Such a good experience at this place, the three girls on reception tonight were very warm and charming. Made a real effort to make us feel comfortable, and were very knowledgable and helpful about the local area. Lovely staff, would definitely visit again.

This is the 4th or 5th time we have stayed here and now when we are planning to come to Manchester (2 or 3 times a year), i don’t bother looking elsewhere. Profits are pumped back into youth projects. The hotel is just as good as any other around the same price. There is parking available. The location is good. Why would I go anywhere else?

This last visit, I asked for a different room due to a medical issue and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. See you next time!

Had a very nice stay,staff were extremely friendly. The room was very good, very clean and well stocked. Breakfast was excellent,good selection of food.

The area is very close to the centre of Manchester so was very good for sight seeing.
Would highly recommend.

Sunday Lunch was amazing the best ever. Chicken was so tasty, fresh Yorkshire pudding where big & tasted fantastic. Everything was just lovely.

Extensive choice on the menu at a good price. Would definitely recommend trying the food at the Castlefield.
